Android (Phones, Tablets)
To connect an Android device to a Wi-Fi network:
- Select the Settings Icon (location of settings may vary from device to device)
- Select Wireless & Networks
- Select Wi-Fi Settings
- The Wi-Fi Settings are displayed
- Place a check next to Wi-Fi to enable Wi-Fi
- A list of available wireless networks will be displayed towards the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down if you do not see them
- Select the Wi-Fi connection you want to connect to by tapping it
- If prompted for a network key, enter the network key (WEP or WPA) that you selected
- If you have not selected a custom key, use the default key (WEP or WPA key) located on the bottom of the modem/gateway.
- After entering the network key, tap Connect
- If you have successfully connected to the Wi-Fi connection you will see a Wi-Fi icon in the notification bar at the top of the screen.
You should now be connected to the modem/gateway
