Android (Phones, Tablets)


To connect an Android device to a Wi-Fi network:
  1. Select the Settings Icon (location of settings may vary from device to device)
  2. Select Wireless & Networks
  3. Select Wi-Fi Settings
  4. The Wi-Fi Settings are displayed
  5. Place a check next to Wi-Fi to enable Wi-Fi
  6. A list of available wireless networks will be displayed towards the bottom of the screen
    1. Scroll down if you do not see them
  7. Select the Wi-Fi connection you want to connect to by tapping it
  8. If prompted for a network key, enter the network key (WEP or WPA) that you selected
    1. If you have not selected a custom key, use the default key (WEP or WPA key) located on the bottom of the modem/gateway.
  9. After entering the network key, tap Connect
  10. If you have successfully connected to the Wi-Fi connection you will see a Wi-Fi icon in the notification bar at the top of the screen.
    You should now be connected to the modem/gateway
